Jake Owen & Diamond Rio To Perform At Tournament’s Military Tribute Concert Tucson, Ariz. (October 19, 2021) – The Tucson Conquistadores, the tournament management team that oversees the operations and sales of the PGA TOUR Champions’ Cologuard Classic, announced today that tickets and hospitality packages are now on sale for the 2022 tournament. The tournament is scheduled to be played February 25 – 27 at Omni Tucson National Resort’s Catalina Course. Tucson, Ariz. (February 22, 2021) – The Tucson Conquistadores and the Colon Cancer Coalition kicked off Cologuard Classic week on Monday with a $35,000 check presentation to El Rio Foundation. The funds were raised through the 2020 Get Your Rear In Gear 5K hosted by The Conquistadores and the Colon Cancer Coalition and will allow El Rio to continue supporting their mission of local colorectal cancer screening efforts in Tucson. Tucson, Ariz. (February 20, 2021) – The Tucson Conquistadores have been working closely for months with Pima County Health Department Officials and the PGA TOUR Champions in planning the 2021 Cologuard Classic, to be played February 26-28 at Omni Tucson National. Pima County Health Department Officials last night ordered that tournament spectators be limited to less than 200 fans per day (Friday through Sunday), therefore this year’s tournament will be played in front of select sponsors and a limited number of colorectal cancer survivors. Remaining Four Sponsor Exemptions Announced Tucson, Ariz. (February 20, 2021) – With Phil Mickelson, Tom Lehman and Fred Couples recently committing to play in next week’s Cologuard Classic, the field is nearly set as tournament officials today announced the four remaining sponsor exemptions. Former University of Arizona golfer Robert Gamez, Tucson native Willie Wood, Fran Quinn and Arizona native Jerry Smith received sponsor exemptions, with MLB Hall of Famer John Smoltz (previously announced) receiving the fifth.
